The title above may sound kind of funny, but it wouldn’t be if that literally happened, right? For too many years, I personally have not dated my wife like I should have. Before you wonder, NO, someone else hasn’t been either!

2016 has brought about change in this department, however. Starting tonight we will have at least once a month date nights outside of the home and once per month inside the home (or backyard, etc). Often times the reason has been no babysitter or quite honestly, I was too cheap to want to pay for one. We now have a sitter arranged with compensation agreed upon.

We have a list of things to do over the course of this year, some we’ve done before and some not, but all should be fun. It will give us something to really look forward to and some alone time without having to worry about the kids.

This is important for any relationship so you keep the “spark” alive and not fall into the same old routine forever.

The same could be said for a husband not getting enough attention from his wife, but make sure both parties get the attention necessary. It’s likely that someone else would give that attention if you don’t so make sure not to let that happen.

I’m no marriage counselor, but I am a REALTOR® so if you’re thinking about buying or selling a home in the Metro Phoenix Area, please give me a call @ 623-203-2264.
