13 FUN THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER
- Visit a Water Park… the two main ones would be GolfLand SunSplash in Mesa or Hurricane Harbor in North Phoenix.
- Staycation… so many resorts to choose from all around town with many offering lazy rivers and plenty of pool space.
- Go Tubing down the Salt River.
- Lake Pleasant is not only for boats, but you can also play at Paqua Park, which is an inflatable course. Pleasant Harbor there has the slides too.
- Take a Day Trip to the mountains… whether Payson, Flagstaff, Prescott or otherwise, you can feel cooler temps and enjoy mountain air.
- Visit a Museum… the Children’s Museum, Musical Instrument Museum, Phoenix Art Museum and more offer special summer rates on certain days and times.
- Indoor fun park… these options have exploded all around the Valley with Main Event, Urban Air, KTR, Slick City, Fat Cats, The Rush, Round 1, Stratosphere, Skyzone and the list goes on…
- Pickleball… not just outside, but there are indoor facilities too. The Picklr, Pickleball Space and Center Court to name a few.
- Find a creek – Fossil Creek, Water Wheel, Slide Rock and many others are all around the state.
- Go to a Baseball Game… our Diamondbacks play inside air conditioned Chase Field!
- See a show at Arizona Broadway Theatre or ASU Gammage.
- Head West to a California Beach!
- Visit your local Public Library and read a new book.
